I played my instrument for the class today. It went OK! I thought it sounded just like jingle bells but apparently it wasn't dead on. I got a 8/10 for my grade. I was happy with how it went.
This is the final product! I just painted the straws. Covered the cardboard with scrap booking paper and paint. And taped it all together. The next step is going to be learning how to play Jingle Bells on this bad boy.
This was my plan to make a musical instrument out of common items. I'm going to McDolands to get some straws. I have card board about
the house and I'll go to WalMart to get some paint to make it look
a little nicer.
